Mayweather has affectionately been nicknamed Money throughout his career, and perhaps aptly so given his sensational earnings.

He topped Forbes’ list of the richest people of the decade in 2019 £700 million Built in ring.
But Mayweather has been accused of blowing his wealth after retirement.
And his recent exhibition bouts against stars from the boxing, MMA and social media worlds haven’t helped disprove the claims either.
Even British promoter Hearn has questioned Mayweather’s fate and decision to continue boxing.

Mayweather, 47, officially retired in 2017 after defeating UFC superstar Conor McGregor, 36, in a crossover bout which is believed to have earned him £300million from the fight alone.
But he has continued exhibition boxing since then, most recently last June against the grandson of notorious crime lord John Gotti.

Gotti III was disqualified in the sixth round, leading to a brawl in the ring after the fight, leading to a rematch on August 24 in Mexico.
And Mayweather revealed he could have at least three more big fights after this one.
He said: “We’ve just had a call about three exhibition deals and it’s a crazy number.
“If I was abused and beaten I would back off.”
Mayweather, who once owned a watch worth £18million, insisted he was not fighting for the cash.
He said: “Am I doing this for the money? Absolutely not. I’m doing it because it’s what I want to do. It’s not like I’m getting hurt by it.
“And people are enjoying it, my team is enjoying it and it’s nice to travel to different places, get training and shake hands with people from different walks of life.”
