Anthony Joshua would face “serious trouble” against Daniel Dubois, according to Carl Froch.
The former super-middleweight world champion expects a big test for AJ at Wembley on Saturday.
Froch believes Dubois is a real world champion after taking over the IBF belt vacated by Oleksandr Usyk in June.
And like Usyk, Froch has also advised Dubois to take on Joshua and get in front of him.
According to Froch, Dubois would be a different proposition for Joshua than their previous four fights, also pointing out that Dubois has performed better by beating Jarrell Miller and Filip Hrgović, since he also lost to Usyk.
Froch said Stephen Hendry’s Cue Tips: “Dubois is a good fighter, this is the biggest moment of his career. He is a big, strong heavyweight and can punch hard. He is actually in better form than AJ.
“I think AJ’s mind is not in the right place where he’s confident going back against a real world champion. I think if Dubois comes in the ring and attacks him, you could see AJ in some serious trouble.

“Nobody has done that to him since Usyk. Usyk played him twice, beat him twice. So what has AJ done since then? He’s fought four guys who didn’t try and were only there for the money.”
Although Froch described Joshua as a favourite to win the contest due to his greater experience, he also warned of what could happen if he lost.
He added: “I think if he beats AJ it will be the end of AJ. It will be the end of AJ.”

The two have fought before, back in 2016 when Dubois was just 18, with Joshua admitting his opponent had the bigger hit on him.
However Joshua has revealed he is a different fighter now – aiming to defeat his opponents.
He said: “It’s crazy. I don’t put much force into my punches. But they are devastating.”
“But the difference is that now I want to flatline people, if I can.”
