A FORMER British world champion has claimed Daniel Dubois can do to Anthony Joshua what none of the former champion’s recent opponents have done to him.
The 27-year-old boxer is just days away from defending his IBF heavyweight title against AJ in front of a packed house at Wembley.
Former two-time unified champion Joshua enters the home stretch on a four-fight winning streak, winning his last three bouts via stoppage.
But his obituary, by Robert Helenius, Otto Wallin And Francis Ngannou has done little to convince former world champion Carl Froch, who insists the Watford warrior has not been tested since his two consecutive defeats to Oleksandr Usyk.
The former WBC super-middleweight champion explains Snooker Great Stephen Hendry: “What has A.J. done since then?
“He’s fought three or four guys who didn’t even try.

“There are four guys who are here to get paid. And you can’t even say Ngannou is a good fighter.

“I know Ngannou gave Fury a good fight, but Fury wasn’t ready for this. He was definitely ready.”
Froch believes Joshua’s brutal demolition of former UFC heavyweight king Ngannou may have falsely boosted his confidence ahead of Saturday night’s domestic clash.
“AJ got in there and beat up Ngannou,” the 47-year-old said.

Anthony Joshua vs Daniel Dubois: Here’s everything you need to know ahead of the huge world title fight at Wembley

“But that gives you a false sense of security.”
Despite his criticisms, Froch believes Joshua is the favourite for Saturday night’s Wembley battle.
But he still believes the London 2012 gold medallist can win.
‘The Cobra’ said: “I think Dubois comes along and beats him up.
“If he believes in himself, Dubois, and sticks to it, you could see AJ in some trouble.”
