Boxing legend Hasim Rahman claims Tyson Fury is a shell of his former self – sparking fears of a rematch with Oleksandr Usyk.
Fury lost his WBC belt and undefeated record after 12 thrilling rounds with Usyk in Saudi Arabia in May.
The Gypsy King won the coveted green belt against Deontay Wilder in 2020 and defended it in their epic 2021 trilogy bout.
But Rahman believes the hat-trick of fights with Wilder took away Fury’s best years – leading to his stoppage defeat against Usyk.
he told fighthype: “I think Deontay Wilder got a big play in the Isik and Tyson Fury rematch.
“I believe Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury took everything away from each other.
“I think they are both in their former form, and I believe Usyk will win this rematch by stoppage.
“I know he knows he can knock him down and hurt him, and now I feel like there’s confidence. I think he’ll win if he stops.”
Fury, 36, was saved from the bell in the ninth round against Usyk, 37, after he found himself in a world of trouble following an attack.

Usyk prevailed as the first four-belt undisputed champion in heavyweight history – but it didn’t last.

In order to advance to his December 21 rematch with Fury, he was forced to vacate the IBF belt.
Daniel Dubois, 27, was elevated from interim champ and knocked out 34-year-old Anthony Joshua in the fifth round of his first defense.
The two are now in talks for a rematch – as former champ Rahman backed Usyk to fight the winner and ride off into the sunset.
He said: “I think he should fight the winner of the Joshua-Dubois rematch and then call it quits.
“The guy did everything you can do in boxing. He is one of the greatest champions of all time.
“He’s a gold medalist, undisputed cruiserweight, undisputed heavyweight. What else can you do? He’s done it all.”
