Ronnie O’Sullivan couldn’t get enough of the success as Artur Beterbiev defeated Dmitry Bivol for undisputed light-heavyweight glory.
Boxing fan O’Sullivan was seated at ringside as Bivol suffered a tough and controversial defeat to his Russian counterpart Beterbiev by majority decision.
Fans were stunned by the result as many thought Bivol had done enough to retain his WBC, IBF and WBO belts.
Nevertheless, the judges scored the fight 114-114, 115-113 and 116-12 in favor of Beterbiev.
Bivol’s promoter Eddie Hearn labeled the decision “absolutely disgusting” and spectators hailed it as “robbery”.
But O’Sullivan, 48, was one man who enjoyed the fight at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The seven-time world snooker champion posted a close-up from his ringside seat and captioned: “What a battle!!!”
And fans were stunned by his involvement, with one writing: “Ronnie O’Sullivan being there is so random 🔥.”
While another said: “What’s O’Sullivan doing ringside?”
A third wrote: “I didn’t expect to see Ronnie O’Sullivan there…so random.”

Another replied: “The rocket is in the house!”
While another said: “From Ronnie O’Sullivan to Medvedev in the Beterbiev vs Bivol fight, who would have thought.”
But fans shouldn’t be so surprised as O’Sullivan agreed to become the ambassador for Saudi Arabia snooker in April.
He penned the terms of a three-year deal with the Gulf state and will commit to playing in all World Snooker Tour (WST) events in Saudi Arabia.
The Rocket lost 6-4 to Si Jiahui at the quarter-final stage of the inaugural Saudi Arabia Masters in Riyadh last month and has hailed the venue as “one of the best in the world”.
Meanwhile, O’Sullivan wasn’t the only random sports star in attendance.
Soccer star Neymar, who plays for Saudi Arabian team Al-Hilal, was seen in the ring after Chris Eubank Jr.’s seventh-round knockout victory over Kamil Szeremeta.
The former Paris-Saint Germain and Barcelona star has been left sandwiched between Eubank and Connor Benn, leaving fans confused.
Tennis star Daniil Medvedev, who was defeated by Jannik Sinner in the US Open quarter-finals last month, was also seen in the crowd.
