The popular presenter told her 231,000 Instagram followers that the photo dump was of her: “The last piece of Crete.”
However, after this she could not stop herself from wowing her fans even more with her stunning decision to take a break on the Mediterranean island.
Melissa, 37, wrote: “12/10 would recommend. So beautiful, cheaper than a European summer holiday, welcoming people and some brilliant fresh food.”

Melissa’s huge online following shared their delight at her achievement of posting so many varied pictures of her in Crete – although they also featured frequent glimpses of fun and sun.
She also included a clip of herself, dressed in a white summer dress, singing Celine Dion’s Titanic theme song My Heart Will Go On with fellow journalist Julia Stuart.
In other photos, the South African woman is seen in a white bikini with transparent straps and a bright blue patterned swimsuit.
