Jones Jr. revealed the heartbreaking situation on social media.
He wrote: “Unfortunately, my son DeAndre committed suicide on Saturday. I am so thankful that God allowed me to come home on Friday night so I could spend the last night of his life with me and my family.
“I know a lot of people are going through a tough time right now, but there’s nothing better than taking your own life.”
DeAndre was 32 years old at the time.
Jones Jr. has two other children apart from Natalie, his management said.

“Their dad has a huge heart,” Natalyn told Bleacher Report about her kids five years ago.
“Moving up? After winning the heavyweight title? I guess 95 percent of the people wanted something from him.
“Things have slowed down a bit now, but I would say still 70 per cent.
“Everyone thinks life is so much easier once you have your boat, but there are so many other things you have to be prepared for. It’s not all that easy to deal with.
