Carl Froch has criticised Anthony Joshua ahead of his fight against Daniel Dubois.
The former super-middleweight world champion branded Joshua “shameful” after he leaked alleged WhatsApp messages between the two.
Froch revealed that he challenged AJ because he called him a “pr***” when asked to summarise Cobra in one word.
In response, Froch rubbished the legacy of the two-time heavyweight world champion.
Joshua will try to become world champion for a third time against Daniel Dubois at Wembley Stadium on September 21.
Dubois was promoted as IBF world champion earlier this week after Oleksandr Usyk relinquished the belt to fight Tyson Fury again later this year.
On Thursday, the two nearly came to blows; the anger of both had been brewing months before the fight.
However, Joshua has now become embroiled in an online feud with Froch ahead of the bout.
The 46-year-old boxer took aim at his fellow Briton on the latest episode of Froch On Fighting.
Giving details of their private conversation, she posted screenshots of their alleged chats.

Froch had asked: “Who are you calling an adulterer?”, to which Joshua replied: “Because… I think you are.”
When Froch pressed him he said: “That’s just what I do,” and the retired boxer replied: “Then do something about it!”
Froch shared screenshots of the alleged chats to Axe, writing, “Just remember to be polite and Cobra will keep his receipts.”
“So he called me ‘naughty’ and I said to him, “Who are you calling ‘naughty’?”,” he said in the video.
“He came back and said ‘I don’t like you’, and that’s right, you don’t like me, but all I’ve done is be honest and give constructive criticism about everything you’ve done since losing to Ruiz and Usyk, and where are you going now, you’re fighting Dubois.
“There’s no need to get personal, there’s no need to talk about a man’s boobs – they look great, by the way.”
He then shared a video sent by Joshua, in which he was seen counting 10, 20 and 50 pound notes.
Froch added: “Then you’ve got £10 and £20 notes on your bed that say (‘Come to my level, come to my level’) Levels, it’s all about levels.
“Where has that humble person gone? Where has that ‘stay humble, stay humble’ thing gone (quoting Joshua).
“He’s talking about levels and saying I’m not at his level. But he’s talking about money. For him it’s all right – he’s made a lot of money, he’s ruined everything.”
“But let’s talk about legacy and levels in terms of fights and career wins. Some little fat guy from Mexico made him quit for shit. He spit out his gumshield and started looking around, looking for a corner, looking for people in the crowd who could help him.
“He was hit with punch after punch. The referee was looking at him – ‘Do you want to continue fighting?’ And what did he do? He couldn’t get to his feet.
“That’s embarrassing – something Cobra would never do. And he can take it to the bank!”
Joshua has a 28-3 record as a professional after losing consecutively to Oleksandr Usyk in his last two title fights.
His knockout win over Francis Ngannou in March extended his winning streak to four in the past two years.

Meanwhile, Froch retired from boxing in 2015 with a professional record of 33-2.
He ended his title reign with two high-profile title defences against his arch rival George Groves, defeating St George in both bouts.
