Allan McGregor won many times for Rangers during his career.
And today he won on a golf course owned by Donald Trump.
McGregor, 42, retires at the end of the 2022/23 season.
He did not feel the need to announce his retirement and resigned from his post after 20 years at the helm, and has been relatively rarely seen since.
McGregor broke his silence on his post-football career plans last month.
He told Golf Life YouTube Chanel: “If this question was asked in the context of coaching, I think I would want to do this, rather than people saying ‘you have the experience, you should do this’.
“That time might come soon, you know. But I’m enjoying it right now.”
And one thing the former Rangers and Scotland goalkeeper is actively enjoying in his new-found free time is playing plenty of golf.
He seems to have quite the talent for it – and was seen playing alongside European Ryder Cup hero Alex Noren at last year’s Scottish Open. Heat,
McGregor enters Lux Scott famous person The Pro-Am was held today at Trump International Golf Links in Aberdeen and was hosted by Scottish golf legend Colin Montgomerie.

The venue opened in 2012 following much controversy over the land it was built on (and a row with Alex Salmond), and nowadays it regularly ranks in the top 100 courses in the world.
The field included a number of stars from the sports and entertainment worlds, including former Formula One world champion Damon Hill, former Olympian Chris Akabusi and Strictly Come Dancing favourite Anton du Beke.
Genesis lead guitarist Mike Rutherford also performed it, and Keith Duffy and Brian McFadden, formerly of Boyzone and Westlife (now touring as a duo called Boyzlife), also attended.
East Celtic star And Hibs boss Alan Stubbs also started it, as did Aberdeen icon Jim Leighton.
Other famous sporting names include Chelsea hero Gianfranco Zola, former rugby star Scott Quinnell and former England cricket international Darren Gough and Steve Harmison.
But McGregor came out on top with 37 points.
McGregor was presented with silverware and a packet of golf balls by Montgomery and Alan Findlater, managing director of sponsor Lux Scott.
The Ibrox fan favourite also won £10,000 for a player of his choosing DonationKilbride Hospice.
They finished top by just one point from East Aberdeen Striker John Hewitt.
In third place was rugby union veteran Ryan Wilson, who previously Glasgow Warrior’s.
Wilson also finished third in the team event, playing alongside former golfer Jean van de Velde (whom he had lost to in the Open at Carnoustie in 1999) and amateurs Kaia Slater and James Slater.
East Chelsea Boss Roberti di Matteo finished second in the team event with Jarmo Sandelin and amateurs Uberto Selvatico-Estense and Lawrence Blunt.
Cricket legend Gough won the team event alongside former professional Phillip Archer and amateurs Julian Kearney and James Noel.
