Daniel Dubois has told Eddie Hearn to “calm down” in an awkward exchange with the British attacker.
“Triple D” is set to make the first defence of his IBF heavyweight title against Hearn’s longtime fighter Anthony Joshua at Wembley later this month.
Dubois and Joshua, 26 and 34 respectively, took part in a heated interview with their promoters in the shadow of the Wembley Arch.
And Dubois eventually turned his attention to Hearn after the Matchroom Boxing ace found fault with his stoppage of the undefeated Filip Hrgovic in June.
Hearn, 45, said:: “He (Hrgovic) was (going to leave), but they also took the kitchen sink from him.
“And you took the kitchen sink off of him, which was very impressive. And I respect you a lot for that.”
“But you don’t have to take the kitchen sink from him, you just have to take a cocktail stick.”
Dubois objected to Hearn’s criticism, saying, “Well, I’m not fighting you, Eddie.”

Hearn promptly responded: “Well, thank God for that.”
And then with a sarcastic smile on his face, DuBois said: “Calm down.”

Hearn responded by saying he was pleased to see Dubois fulfill his dream of becoming a world champion.
“Listen, you deserve your tryout,” he said. “You’re the world heavyweight champion.
“And I love that you’re the world heavyweight champion.
“I love it, because I hate (it) whenever AJ wins the belt, ‘He won a vacant title’ and this and that.
“He can dethrone you. That’s the beautiful thing about it. Great, you dethrone a champion.
“You have captured my attention, ours and the world’s attention. Well done, well done. Now let’s see.”
This exchange between Dubois and Hearn took place after AJ threatened the IBF champion with a knife. Chair To disrespect them.
When Dubois refused to back down in the fiery argument, AJ stood up and said: “Daniel, don’t disrespect me because I will put this chair in your face.”
Security quickly intervened and restrained Dubois, while Joshua said: “I don’t take disrespect lightly, Dan.
