Hatton, 32, is often outspoken in his self-criticism and has frequently lost his composure on the field, with his outburst at the Masters attracting considerable attention.
Although he missed a putt he managed to keep his composure, leading to praise from commentator David Feherty.

This time Hatton reacted to his shot with anger in a classic case of commentator cursing.
He said, “Disgusting, disgusting. Damn the air. Damn the waste.”
“Two in a row has completely ruined me.”
Hatton birdied three of his last five holes to be 19 under after 54 holes and trail compatriot Sam Horsfield by six shots.
