Mike Tyson has made an emotional confession ahead of his fight with Jake Paul.
Iron Mike, 58, is set to take on the 27-year-old Problem Child in front of possibly more than 100,000 spectators at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
Paul is 31 years younger than Tyson, so many have written off the former heavyweight champion’s chances.
But he is determined to step into the ring on November 15 and show that “age is just a number”.
“I want to change biology, I want to change the way people think about aging,” Tyson said in a clip posted to his Instagram account.
He added: “People think as you age you get frail, you become less physically active.
“It’s all psychological. If you believe you feel bad and you feel old – then you feel bad and old.
“If you feel good, you feel good. It all depends on what we see about ourselves.”
Seeing his rebellious comments, Tyson fans got excited before the fight.

One wrote on social media: “I’m now a believer.”

While another commented: “I agree!!! Great way to think.”
A third said: “There’s no better way to say this than believing in fighting hard in life.”
And another said: “You will always be a champion. You will win this next fight!”
The Tyson and Paul fight was originally scheduled for July 20th.
However, Iron Mike was forced to drop out due to an aggravated ulcer.
The undercard of the fight is shaping up nicely.
Katie Taylor is set to have her much-anticipated rematch with Amanda Serrano.
While Darren Till is scheduled to face Julio Cesar Chavez Jr.

Tyson last stepped into the ring in November 2020, when he and Roy Jones Jr. fought to a draw in a Los Angeles exhibition bout.
Paul, meanwhile, improved his professional record to 10-1 in July when he defeated Tyson’s stand-in fighter Mike Perry by sixth round knockout.
