SHARP-EYED fans have spotted the moment Daniel Dubois hit Anthony Joshua just after the bell rang at the end of the third round.
In boxing, boxers are not allowed to throw punches after the bell rings.
The final blow came in a fight in which Joshua was brutally knocked out by Dubois in the fifth round.
Dubois, 27, started the fight very aggressively as he defended Joshua until the bell in the first and third rounds, although he fell to the canvas both times.
But a moment late in the third quarter caused some controversy when Joshua’s feet got caught on the ropes near his own corner.
Dubois began attacking the former two-time heavyweight champion, catching him with an uppercut and dropping him into the bottom rope before the bell rang.
Joshua was landing a flurry of blows before Dubois threw the final punch in full swing after The bell rang, referee Marcus McDonnell pulled him away.
Some fans were angered by the incident, with one writing: “That was a cheap attack from Dubois.”

The IBF’s rules state that for boxers to be disqualified “there must be a clear time interval between the sound of the bell and the time of the punch”.
Dubois likely didn’t hear the bell in front of 96,000 screaming fans, as the Greenwich boxer immediately retreated to the other ring.
If Dubois had waited a little longer after the bell before punching Joshua, he could have been disqualified, but it was such a close fight that the referee and commentators practically ignored it.
After the bout, Joshua’s promoter Eddie Hearn took the opportunity to highlight another rule-breaking moment.
Hearn said: “Listen, when Dubois hit him in the testicles in the third or fourth round, I was screaming at AJ to take the full five minutes.
“It’s really a lack of experience. At the time he was completely unable to stand up after getting injured.
“All he has to do is ask the referee. But he’s not AJ, he was saying ‘no, no I’m fine’ and I was thinking what are you doing?
“He came to fight. He gave it his all. It was an awesome fight.”
