The IBF super-featherweight title will not be at stake during the fight between Anthony Joshua and Daniel Dubois.
Champion Anthony Cacace was set to defend his newly earned red strap against former featherweight king Josh Warrington in front of a packed house at Wembley on Saturday night.
But the US sanctions agency No The title bout was approved due to Warrington’s inactivity in the 135-pound class and his loss to Leigh Wood in the last bout.
Now, Cacace’s IBO belt will be the only belt he will be able to claim when he takes on the 35-year-old Warrington.

Cacace – who won the IBF belt in May by beating Joe Cordina by eighth-round TKO – explained BBC“This is for the IBO world title. The IBF is not at stake.
“You have to talk to Frank (Warren, Cacace’s promoter) and everybody behind the scenes about that. I wanted to get it out in the open.
“I’ve known about this for weeks. It’s not disturbing to me at all, but at the same time I don’t understand what’s going on.”
In an interview The Stomping GroundPromoter Eddie Hearn said of the IBF’s decision not to sanction the fight: “I understand it.
“I think the problem with the IBF is that they enforce their rules, but they don’t allow any common sense.

“He was fighting the No. 1 featherweight in the world, Leigh Wood, (and) he was winning the fight, but he got stopped.
“For me, it should be an automatic challenge for the world title.
“And with all due respect to Cacace, that’s not what Josh Warrington has done in his career.
“The IBO title is at stake, we understand he’s not one of the big four (belts), but he’s a world champion.
“And if you win the fight, it will be a huge fight, and you truly are, in my eyes, the world champion.”
When asked if he was bothered by the IBF’s decision, Warrington said: “Not at all.
“Because at the end of the day, as Ed said, you know, four belts, five belts, six belts.
“After all, the belt GoodThey go on your mantelpiece. But these are the battles people remember.
“You can defend the title eight, nine, ten or 12 times, but people will look back and say, ‘Who did you box?’
“I want people to say, ‘You know what? He put up a great fight.’ Yes, I won a world title.
