Gerry Horner and Kelly Piquet attended the FIA Awards with their partners at a glittering party in Kigali, Rwanda last night.
The pair joined Christian Horner and Max Verstappen as they celebrated the latter’s latest Formula 1 world title.
At last night’s party the sports stars donned their tuxedos for an evening of celebration.
Pickett, who announced earlier this month that she was pregnant, wore a stunning black gown for the event.
Meanwhile, Geri wore a beautiful white dress.
Verstappen also posed for pictures with colleagues Lando Norris and Charles Leclerc, who came second and third respectively in this season’s championship.
Norris’s McLaren teammate Oscar Piastri was also present in Kigali as his team celebrated winning the Constructors’ Championship.
After securing his World Drivers’ Trophy, Verstappen reflected on 2024 before looking forward to the year ahead.
The 27-year-old player said, “As you can see, this season has been full of ups and downs.
“We had a great start to the year, everything was looking great. I think especially from the outside, of course, as a team you always understand your limitations and what you want to work on. .

“The competition did a great job, they improved their cars a lot and made it more difficult for us – especially in the constructors.’

“At the end of the day I’m very proud of everyone in the team. Of course we’re not standing here as constructor champions, but, in a way, I think we deserved a little bit more of that.” Championship.

Not present was Verstappen’s Red Bull teammate Sergio Pérez, who scored only 49 points between Week 7 and Week 24.
Asked about the Mexican’s potential replacement Liam Lawson, Horner said: “I think Liam has done a very good job in challenging conditions. If you analyze what he has done in that time and his races What is the speed, so I think he did a good job.
