Harlem Eubank gave a tearful interview to SunSport in which he discussed the tragic deaths of cousin Sebastian and his father Simon.
But the iconic British fighting family is now united to help raise a new generation in the form of Raheem, the 29-year-old’s son whom he left behind at just one month old.
Seb – who was extremely close to Harlem over their shared love for martial arts and spirituality – suffered a heart attack in Dubai in 2021.
And last year Harlem’s father Simon died at the age of 61 after a fierce battle with dementia, which the hardened former fighter couldn’t conquer.
There have been many dark days in the family, but the 30-year-old Brighton player beautifully explained that they are now all trying to stay in the light together.
“Chris Sr. is in good shape at the moment,” he said with a smile.
“He had to go through a very difficult time, like all of us. He had to deal with some very traumatic things.”
“He was perhaps exploited a bit at the time and put in the spotlight when he shouldn’t have been.
He said, “He went through a bad phase but now he has overcome it.”
“And it’s great to see Chris Eubank Sr being the real Chris Eubank.

“If you don’t use things to energise yourself and give respect to people, it can take a toll on you.
“Chris has mellowed out, now we have Raheem to look after him, he’s mellowed out.
“Having Raheem in our lives has definitely changed us all. He’s a beautiful boy.
“He has all the features of his father.
“When you look at the apple, you see it in different expressions, like the one Rahim uses.
“It’s beautiful because it makes you feel like Seb is still here, he’s here now, living through Raheem.
“Every time I see him I get a warm feeling, he’s just had his first day at school, he’s three years old and I’ve been sent pictures of him flashing the peace sign on his first day.

“All the other kids are crying about leaving their parents for the first time and he’s full of confidence and eager to go out there and take charge.
