KSI is one of the biggest YouTubers of all time and has become popular beyond the site as well.
But who is the YouTuber who has found a second career in the boxing ring?
Who is KSI?
KSI was born on 19 June 1993 and is an English YouTube personality, boxer, rapper, comedian, and actor.
The star’s real name is Olajide William “JJ” Olatunji.
He attended the independent Berkhamsted School alongside future Sidemen member and YouTube collaborator Simon Minter, known as Miniminter.
KSI – which stands for wisdom, strength, integrity – first came to YouTube in 2009, originally posting content about video games.
Since then he has broadened his horizons and become the CEO of Misfits Boxing, Prime Hydration, XIX Vodka, and co-owner of the restaurant chain Sides.
While competing as a professional boxer, KSI went by the nickname ‘The Nightmare’.
How does KSI make his money?
YouTube
since 2009, KSI’s channel His personal YouTube channel has nearly six billion video views, and 24 million subscribers.
When his combined channels are included, he has over 41.5 million subscribers and 10.55 billion views.
He managed to win the NME Award for ‘Vlogger of the Year’ in 2016.
Alongside his YouTube career, KSI has released four EPs as a rapper, two of which have topped the UK R&B Albums Chart.
In 2015, he was ranked as the UK’s most influential YouTube creator, with his brother Daisy, also known as Comedy Shorts Gamer, in second place.
In 2016, he made his feature film debut in the comedy film ‘Laid in America’ alongside fellow YouTube star Caspar Lee.
The Sidemen
KSI was a founding member of the online group The Sidemen, the product of seven British YouTubers, who launched their own premium web TV series in 2018.
However, he became the centre of controversy in 2012 for allegedly sexually assaulting attendees at a Eurogamer event.
Microsoft severed ties with him and he was banned for life from attending the Expo.
He discussed the controversy in his 2015 autobiography KSI: I Am AB*****d.
Music and business
KSI spent a few years focusing on his music career, including releasing Really Love with Craig David and Digital Farm Animals in October 2020.
But he has become more active in the fight game since 2022, fighting four times ahead of his October 14 clash with Tommy Fury.
Besides all of that, KSI is also a successful businessman – he’s the CEO of Misfits Boxing, and co-owner of Prime Hydration, XIX Vodka, and the restaurant chain Sides.
What cars does KSI own?
Lamborghini
KSI spent some of his wealth on an exclusive Lamborghini Aventador worth £280k in 2014, which has been described as his “pride and joy”.
This stunning Italian sports car has been painted in an eye-catching purple colour by celebrity customizer Yiannimis.
He even released a track called Lamborghini in March 2015, in which he paid tribute to his beloved motor and made it the star of the video shoot.
But reports suggest he sold the incredible vehicle at a loss two years after the music video debuted.
Porsche
KSI isn’t worried about that though – he still has his Porsche 718 Boxster, which he bought in April 2019.
This fantastic motor costs around £65k, has a drop-top roof and a top speed of 171mph.
And to make sure everyone knows who’s driving, KSI even got a personalized license plate that says “K51 FLY.”
He also impressed his fans by adding the next luxurious car to his garage – a £60,000 Porsche Cayenne.
The YouTuber showed off this particular car in a series of Snapchat Stories, but didn’t share any photos showing the exterior.
The Cayenne is the most luxurious of Porsche’s SUVs and is powered by a 3.0L turbo V6 engine.
Rolls Royce Wraith
KSI has also hinted that he has an even more exclusive motor – the luxurious Rolls Royce Wraith.
This £250,000 car is packed with luxury, as it should be, since it costs £250,000.

Although he hasn’t explicitly announced that he’s purchased it, he has been spotted driving the Wraith countless times around Los Angeles.
