With all the gold on the line at light-heavyweight this weekend, Arthur Beterbiev faces Dmitry Bivol.

Whoever wins will become the latest in a short series of men’s undisputed boxing champions in the four-belt era, joining Oleksandr Usyk, Terence Crawford and Canelo Alvarez.

Beterbiev is undefeated, having won all 20 of his fights by knockout, while Bivol also has an unblemished 23-0 record.

They have been on a collision course to fight for years, with Beterbiev holding the WBO, IBF and WBC belts, while Bivol holds the WBA strap.

They were scheduled to fight in June earlier this year but the fight was postponed after Beterbiev was injured.

But now they’re finally set to lose, and fans are wondering if it’s possible we’ll see the fight more than once.

Is there a Beterbiev vs Bivol rematch clause?

According to Bivol’s promoter Eddie Hearn, there is no rematch clause for his fight with Beterbiev.

But Hearn completely ruled out the possibility of a rematch and indicated that if the fight was entertaining and there was public demand for it, a rematch could be made.

But there are options for both Bivol and Beterbiev after this weekend’s clash.

Bivol always has the option to fight Canelo Alvarez again and has said he may move up to super-middleweight to do so.

Beterbiev has been linked to a fight against Alvarez before, but he is more likely to move up to cruiserweight.

The 39-year-old Russian can also hang up his gloves regardless of win or loss, keeping his unbeaten record intact after sweeping the entire division.

However, if the fight between Bivol and Beterbiev is close, expect a rematch, especially if there is any dispute over the outcome.
