Jake Paul has announced plans to compete at the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles and win a shocking gold medal.
The YouTuber-turned-boxer is in Paris as the honorary coach of Team USA.
But Paul noted with disappointment that the eight-member squad returned home with just one medal.
Omari Jones won bronze at welterweight, while Andre Ward is now the last man to win gold for the US – 20 years ago in Athens in 2004.
But 10-1 professional cruiserweight Paul believes he will be the man to end the two-decade-long drought.
“I’m going to be at the boxing Olympics in Los Angeles in 2028,” he said on his podcast.
“I’m tired of waiting for another gold medal for Team USA.
“I’m not retiring. I’ve definitely added a few more years to my boxing career.”
“Los Angeles, United States, very sick.”

Paul, 27, said he had thought about competing in the Olympics this year but missed the qualification cut-off.

And from 2016, boxers with professional records were welcomed back into Olympic amateur boxing.
Paul said: “Yeah, I’m just dropping bombs. In fact, that’s just what I’m going to do. Why not?
“2028 Olympics, you’re already hearing this – the gold medal, you’re mine brother.”
Paul has not competed in any amateur bouts and instead turned professional after an exhibition bout in 2020.
He has since racked up ten wins and only one loss, coming to 25-year-old Tommy Fury in February 2023.
Paul won in the sixth round in July after knocking down former UFC star Mike Perry three times.
Perry, 32, took over on a month’s notice when Mike Tyson, 58, pulled out due to health precautions.
Paul will instead face Tyson on November 15, a controversial bout given the 30-year age difference between the two.

The American celebrity has also insisted that he will challenge for the cruiserweight world title within the next two years.
“Becoming a world champion is the most important thing, but winning a gold medal is second,” he said.
