JAKE PAUL has rubbed salt into Tommy Fury’s wounds by offering Molly-Mae Hague a job – the offer was made after the celebrity break-up.

Fury was dumped by Molly-Mae – who he met on reality TV show Love Island – in 2019 amid cheating allegations.

The incident occurred more than a year after the undefeated boxer became the first and so far only boxer to defeat Paul in the ring.

The YouTuber turned boxer offered Fury a rematch on Netflix – which Mike Tyson rejected and accepted this instead.

Paul, speaking at a Professional Fighters League media event, said it was one of many mistakes his rival has made recently.

He added: “It’s definitely going to devalue itself over time.”

“Saying no to the Netflix opportunity was probably the stupidest thing a boxer has ever done in history.

“You literally have an opportunity to fight on the biggest stage and now … the value of that keeps going down.

“He will now need the extra money and all that. The price and the offer from our side are going down.

“But of course I feel bad for him, but at the same time, you’re an idiot.”

Paul recently celebrated the launch of his men’s health line W and tapped rapper and model Ruby Rose as his ambassador.

But the master marketer opened the door to hiring Molly-Mae by launching a brutal dig at Fury following their public split.

Paul laughed and said: “That’s not a bad idea, Molly-Mae – we’ll get you to the W.”

Despite the criticisms, Paul expressed sympathy for Fury and Molly-Mae’s one-year-old daughter Bambi.

Paul said: “I just hope they get it and figure it out with the kids and all that.

“But, I’m still going to beat the crap out of him as a single dad.”

Paul (27) lost a split decision to Fury (25) in Saudi Arabia and was offered a rematch as Netflix’s first move into live boxing.

After the offer was turned down, heavyweight boxing icon Tyson, 58, accepted it and the controversial bout was scheduled for November 15.

But Paul is still looking to avenge the only defeat in his 11-fight record and warned he is a new man 12 months on from defeat.

He said: “I want to do it, all the fans want it. It’s a huge fight, it was a good fight.

“So, I have to go back and avenge my defeat and that would be really pleasing for me and I believe I can now blow Tommy Fury away.

“My skill-level is at a completely different level now. I’m not even the same fighter anymore.”
