Mike Tyson has admitted he has been taking magic mushrooms while training for his fight against Jake Paul.
The heavyweight veteran will face the YouTuber-turned-boxer on November 15 in Texas in what is set to be a controversial bout that will also draw scrutiny over the age difference.
Tyson had to withdraw from the initial July 20 date as a health precaution because of a stomach ulcer.
But now he’s back in training and involved in Paul’s brother Logan’s programme. Impulsive Podcast This was said after a press conference organised to promote the match.
Tyson was asked about his love for marijuana and magic mushrooms.
And Iron Mike made the shocking revelation that he is still taking both drugs as he trains to fight Paul.
He said: “I have to take them with me when I train. I always train on my mushrooms. I train on mushrooms.
“I feel so beautiful, it takes me to heaven, baby.”

Both Tyson, 58, and Paul, 27, will be required to undergo drug testing before and after the fight, which marks Netflix’s first foray into live boxing.
But Tyson must also pass an EKG and EEG — brain and heart tests — because he is over 36.

Tyson retired in 2005 but returned in 2020 for an eight-round exhibition bout with Roy Jones Jr. which ended in a draw.
Boxing’s youngest ever heavyweight champion – he was just 20 when he won the belt in 1986 – claimed his performance against Jones was poor.
And he acknowledged the situation might not be any different against the 10-1 Paul.
Tyson revealed: “If I’m not eating mushrooms I’ll… live on the remains of mushrooms. If I’m not eating mushrooms I’ll live on the remains of mushrooms.”
