Mike Tyson revealed that during his superstar days he would spend $5 million in just two days.
Iron Mike – who remains one of the most famous boxers of all time – was once the highest-paid boxer in the world.
Tyson is believed to have earned over £200million during his career – and he knew how to spend it, too.
he told Jimmy Kimmel“Yes, five million dollars will be spent in a few days. I am very spendthrift.
“No, not yet, but when I was a kid, $5 million would sell in a matter of days.”
When asked if he regretted it, Tyson replied, “Never! I had a great time.”
Tyson became the youngest ever heavyweight champion when he defeated Trevor Berbick in 1986 at just 20 years old.
And he was boxing’s biggest pay-per-view star in the late 1980s and 1990s, earning more than £20million per fight.
But his career declined in the new millennium and by 2003 Tyson filed for bankruptcy with debts of £17million.
He retired in 2005 after two bad defeats and financial struggles.

But after retirement, Tyson rebuilt his wealth through celebrity appearances, film roles, and partnerships.
He even became a cannabis trader, earning around £500,000 a month selling marijuana products.
Tyson made a shock comeback in 2020 in an exhibition bout with fellow great Roy Jones Jr. which ended in a draw.
And now – four years after that glorious bout with Jones – the heavyweight icon is back again.
He is scheduled to face YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul on November 15 in Texas, which has been controversial due to the age difference.
Further concerns were raised about the health of the 58-year-old Tyson when he withdrew from the initial July 20 date because he had aggravated a stomach ulcer.
But he has been declared medically fit to take on 27-year-old Paul, whose boxing record reads ten wins and one loss.
Both will be required to undergo drug testing and Tyson will also be required to undergo additional brain and heart tests due to his age.

This would be a professionally sanctioned fight – Tyson’s first in almost every match he’s fought. 15 years – Record officially in danger.
And the two are expected to split the massive $80million (£60million) prize money between them in what would also be Netflix’s first foray into live boxing.
