Oleksandr Usyk has opened the door to a brutal step into the world of bare-knuckle boxing.
The Ukrainian great defeated Tyson Fury to become the first four-belt undisputed heavyweight champion in history.
But he was forced to vacate his IBF title for their rematch, scheduled for December 21 in Saudi Arabia.
One of Usyk’s coaches – Sergey Lappin – predicted that another defeat would spell the end of Fury’s iconic career.
And Lappin claimed Usyk’s options are so limited he could consider moving to the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship – which is co-owned by Conor McGregor.
Lappin wrote on Instagram, “Hey brother, Conor McGregor!”
“First of all Oleksandr Usyk has to retire Tyson Fury, but our team is ready to do something great together with Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship. Let’s talk.”

McGregor, 36, commented on a post featuring Lappin’s quotes, writing: “Usyk with bare hands!”
And even Usyk gave it the green light on his Instagram Story, saying: “Let’s talk.”
Trainer Lappin also teased a fight with YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul, 26. one handed That could be an option for Usyk as well as an MMA switch.
