The Open leader Billy Horschel has revealed why he carries his West Ham golf bag with him at Royal Troon.
The American putter is enjoying a stellar season in Scotland.
And his four-under par score could give the world number 11 a famous golf win on Sunday.
But besides his skills with the club, Horschel has also been in the news for his bag selection.
The 37-year-old from Florida takes to the field with the West Ham logo front and center.
And now Horschel has revealed he has a blue and red bag because he’s a huge Hammers fan.
Horschel said: “Whenever I come here I try to get a West Ham bag out and listen to ‘Up the Hammers’ and ‘Come on you Irons’.”
“I’ve been very lucky that supporters of other clubs have been so kind to me, whereas they might not be that way to a fellow Englishman who is a West Ham fan!”
Horschel has also weighed in on whether Julen Lopetegui can take West Ham back up the table following the departure of David Moyes.
He added: “I think Julen will do a great job. I’m excited to hear it.”

“David Moyes was fantastic, he took the club from place to place and I think now it’s time to pass the torch, and Julen will do a great job.”
Horschel has previously revealed he is close friends with Hammers legend Mark Noble, who is now the club’s sporting director.
“Noble is a West Ham legend, a really close friend,” he said after a tough day on the pitch.
“We’re very similar in the way we handle things. He just told me what a great player and person I am.
“Even though I know this about myself, it never hurts to hear it from the people you love.”
Regarding his chances of winning the Open, Horschel said: “I’m very happy. Played two great rounds of golf and am in good shape going into the weekend. I couldn’t have asked for more after the first two rounds.”
“The majors mean a lot to me. It’s a legacy thing. You can build a legacy in the game of golf by winning a major, or by winning multiple majors.
“I always felt I could play well in the big tournaments. I just had to get out of my own way.

“I always felt like I had to be perfect. You have to play perfect golf in a major tournament to win.
“I know that’s not the case, but it’s one of those things where in some cases I’m probably a slow learner, and in major cases I’m slow at learning how to approach majors. I’ve done a better job over the last couple of years.”
