Ryan Garcia is considering a shock move to MMA following his ban from boxing due to a positive drug test.
The fighter failed two tests before his win over Devin Haney in April, ending Devin Haney’s undefeated record.
Now it has been restored and the result has been declared unopposed.
Garcia’s team says he is a “victim of substance contamination” after announcing his “retirement” on Thursday.
And after reaching a settlement with the New York commission, Garcia will now be suspended for at least one year.
He will also return his share of the Heeney contract which is worth around £900,000.
And Garcia has also been fined £8,000.
But now it appears he is eager to step into the Octagon after sending a message to Dana White on social media.
Garcia lashed out: “They took away my winnings. I never cheat. Shame on you!”
“Take away my victory, add it to the list of troubles I’m already going through.

“I’m ready for business. Get dressed. I already don’t care. Run away when you see me.”

“I’m going to the UFC. Dana, I want my 50gs. Seriously Dana White, contact me.”
Following his suspension from boxing, Garcia’s camp released a statement speaking out in his defense.
It read: “Ryan Garcia was the victim of substance contamination, the levels of which were measured in billions and trillions of grams, which did not confer any advantage in the ring.
“Ryan has resolved this issue with his legal team and stands firm in his truth: he has never knowingly taken any banned substance. It’s just not in his nature.
“Ryan has voluntarily submitted to random testing for a number of years, even in out-of-competition periods, and he has never had a problem.
“He has maintained an unblemished and impeccable record throughout his career, significantly elevating the sport of boxing and earning the respect and admiration of millions of fans worldwide.
“Fans will always remember his performance against Heeney as a masterclass, and that will never fade away.”
“Ryan will continue to grow the sport and remain actively involved in advocating for reform. We hope that future changes to our system will address issues like this.”
