RANGERS legend Nacho Novo is set to make his boxing debut.
The Spaniard spent six years with the Scottish giants, winning three league titles and scoring 68 goals in 236 games.
He retired from football in 2017 and started coaching in America.
But now at the age of 45, Novo is making a shock move into the boxing ring to face Scottish TikToker Caz Milligan.
Milligan – like Jake Paul – has moved on from a career in social media to boxing.
They are set to compete at Glasgow’s famous OVO Hydro on August 10th.
Novo scored a penalty in a memorable win which sent Rangers to the 2008 UEFA Cup Final – where they lost to Zenit St Petersburg.
He later moved to Sporting Gijon in his native Spain and played in Poland, Northern Ireland, the USA and with Morton in Scotland.

He also opened a bar on Paisley Road West and also became the coach of Lexinton SC in Kentucky.
In 2018, he suffered a suspected heart attack while playing for Rangers Veterans in a tournament in Germany.

He suffered a stroke a few months after his health scare – but is now fully healthy again.
Novo said: “Twenty years ago I scored for Rangers. Now I’m competing against my biggest fan.”
“What I’ve been through, I’ve had a lot of problems in my life — health issues.
“No matter what happens in life, you can push yourself and try to do whatever it is you want to do.
“I’m excited for the event and hope everyone comes and supports me and enjoys it.”
