A boxer suffered a seizure in the middle of a match and fell unconscious.
Tramain Williams was representing NYC Attitude in the Team Combat League against Ryan Allen of the Las Vegas Hustle.
And just minutes into the fight, Williams collapsed without landing a punch and suffered a seizure on the floor.
The quick-thinking referee immediately called the fight off and expressed concern for Williams’ health.
Thankfully, the former super-bantamweight world title challenger revealed on Instagram that he has been discharged from hospital.
He posted: “I’m fine, the doctor said I was very dehydrated. Still, I’m fine.”
Williams has a record of 20 wins, two losses and one no-contest and lost for the 122lb WBO title against Angelo Leo in 2020.
But he has signed up for this year’s TCL, a unique format in which boxers from different weight categories compete as a team over a series of 18 rounds.
Some people box for only one round and the total points are added up at the end.
And despite Williams’ fear in the ring, the match continued and NYC Attitude defeated Las Vegas Hustle 172-166.
Tragedy struck at the TCL in April when heavyweight Ardie Ndembo died after a knockout in the ring.

Ndembo died three weeks later after falling into a coma following a knockout against Nestor Santana.
