ROBERT Macintyre went straight from partying in Oban to playing in The Open Championship.
And now some behind the scenes photos have emerged of him celebrating winning the Scottish Open with his friends and family… including the mysteriously ‘stolen’ golf buggy!
MacIntyre, 27, pulled off a dramatic victory on the 18th hole at the Renaissance Club two weeks ago to win his home tournament in front of a delighted crowd.
He said: “I wanted the Scottish Open, I got the Scottish Open.”
“I think I lost my voice after screaming on that (last) hole.
“I thought I was short (on the last putt).
“Look, I put a lot of work into this.
“I have made a lot of changes to my team and worked hard.
“I had a bit of luck on No. 16, but you need a bit of luck to win golf tournaments.
“This is what I wanted. Now there’s more to achieve.”
The Glencrutten Golf Club veteran vowed to “celebrate hard” when interviewed on the green after recording his second Tour win in five events.
He said: “Next week is a new week but let me tell you, I will celebrate it with my family, friends and everyone here. I will celebrate it with great pomp and show.”
“When we get to the Open, we’ll get to the Open.”
In fact, he had to reschedule his pre-tournament press conference at Royal Troon because he was recovering from a hangover.

And when he got there, US Open winner Bryson DeChambeau met him in person, congratulated him and then couldn’t resist asking about Scott’s drinking antics.
The Live Golf star has now got some insight into the party antics.
McIntyre has shared several photos and video clips on his Twitter account. Instagram Story of the Night.
He first posted a photo of himself holding the Scottish Open trophy on the 18th green at Renaissance with the caption “How it all began…”
McIntyre then shared a video of him “getting it all in” as the left-handed golfer danced arm-in-arm with a security guard.
The unlikely pair were surrounded by McIntyre’s friends and family, who sang and clapped as they beckoned into the room.
Another photo shows McIntyre and his close friend Niall McFarlane playing some pranks, with his friend placing a plant on his head.
A blurry photo, titled “The End,” shows McIntyre being driven home by two of her friends.
And the mischief didn’t stop there.
An early morning video shows three friends driving a golf buggy that “someone had parked outside the house.”

The cart likely came from MacIntyre’s home club in Oban, which we’ve listed as one of the nine best hidden golf courses in Scotland where you can play for less than £45.
Earlier this year MacIntyre claimed his first PGA Tour success at the Canadian Open, employing his father as an emergency stand-in caddie.
