The LIV Golf chief is perhaps the biggest success story of an athlete-turned-businessman with over 100 golf courses to his name.

However, it has been left in a state of disrepair after Norman abandoned one of the courses.
The former Golf Club of Vellano, located just 50 miles from Los Angeles in the US state of California, is now an overgrown husk of a golf course.
The club is located on 269 acres of land in Chino Hills and has a 45,000 square foot clubhouse.
It offers facilities for activities such as swimming, billiards and general fitness, as well as a banquet hall.
But the course struggled financially since it opened in 2006 and was eventually closed in May 2018.

Michael Conrad, then president of the homeowners association, said: “We have joined the ranks of communities that have been mistreated by Western Golf Properties.
“We were told they would close the golf course if we didn’t support their wishes.”

The private 18-hole course – which is situated at an altitude of 1,000ft – is now up for sale for a whopping £13.7million.
The maintenance buildings are also for sale separately for £7.8m.
There are even 175 properties on the outskirts of the course priced at up to £4.2 million, while vacant plots are also for sale for around £760,000.
However, any buyer will need to invest in a lawn mower due to the intense grass cutting requirements.
Original designer Norman, 69, has a net worth of £305million.
His courses span 34 countries and six continents, including South Africa, Ireland, Vietnam, Egypt, Australia, Argentina, Colombia, South Korea, China, Mexico, and the United Arab Emirates.
