TYSON FURY has been forced to ditch plans to build a luxury mansion after being pummelled by bats.

The boxer wanted to demolish his eight-bedroom house and replace it with a six-bed home in Cheshire’s “Golden Triangle”, which is popular with celebrities and football stars.

This gorgeous modern house plan included a swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi and cinema.

But the former heavyweight champion’s plans were thwarted by Cheshire East Council’s environmental departments – and he withdrew his application on Wednesday.

A battle-weary 35-year-old Tyson apparently realised all the problems were adding up – and he gave up.

Council conservation officer James Bagley stressed the planning application could not be examined until winter to determine whether there were any “hibering bats” there – and called for a new survey to be carried out within six months.

Earlier, Tyson’s plans were jeopardised when bats were found roosting on a scaffolding.

They were then told that birds visiting their pond or fruit trees could be a threat to nearby jets.

Tyson already had to apply for a special licence from Natural England, as a protected bat species was found around his current home.

They were also to submit a biodiversity strategy, which should include “proposals for the provision of facilities for nesting birds including the house sparrow, gaps in garden fences to facilitate the movement of hedgehogs, planting of native species.”

Another department of the council wanted him to remove his proposed grand house – for the sake of an oak tree.

New construction would only be given the green light if “the development work is beyond public interest” and “there is no suitable alternative”.

“Further consideration should be given to relocating or modifying the building footprint to avoid encroaching into the oak tree’s root protection zone,” the official said.

This is the second time Tyson has abandoned plans to demolish the original building.

They had also submitted plans to extend and modify the current property, but withdrew that application as well, so the future of the property is yet to be determined.

In December Fury and his two brothers John Jr and Shane got into trouble in court over renting out a car park on their land.

The hit Netflix show At Home with the Furies gave an insight into their day-to-day activities outside of boxing.

The Gypsy King is believed to have earned around £200million during his career.

Fury and his seven children currently live in a luxury home worth £1.7million.

He swapped his £550,000 house overlooking Morecambe Bay for a mansion in the same area.

His wife Paris (34) often gives us glimpses of their fabulous wealth by sharing pictures on Instagram.

The house featured prominently in Netflix show At Home With The Furies, which gave fans a glimpse into the chaotic and hectic life of Britain’s top heavyweight boxer.

Season one offered a glimpse of his fight preparations ahead of his bout with Dereck Chisora in December 2022.

Apart from this, Fury also has a huge collection of motors which he has been seen driving.

Recently, he added a stunning customised Porsche GT3 RS worth over £200,000 to his car collection.

He is also said to own a number of Rolex watches, and showed off an 18-carat diamond-studded watch from the brand worth £60,000 while preparing for his fight with White.

Father John was at Chester Magistrates’ Court to defend his sons.

He said he had signed a lease agreement with a valet company and had done nothing wrong by not paying the council £82,166 for the car park adjacent to his home in Styal.

The court was also told he had handed over ownership of the land to his sons – who are worth more than £134million – after a “rowdy row with his wife 20 years ago”.

John Sr. said: “I didn’t have to be here, but I’m here today to tell you the boys had nothing to do with this, especially Tyson.”

“It’s ridiculous when you’re paying millions of pounds in tax. He hasn’t lived at that address for 18 years.

“I just rented a piece of land. I have no understanding of any kind of business or what they do.

“It was just an empty field, that’s all I’ve ever done.”

But District Judge John McGarva ordered the three brothers to pay a business charges bill and court costs of £17,206 – a total of almost £100,000.
