Club professional Frank Bensel Jr. made an astonishing two consecutive holes-in-one during the second round of the U.S. Senior Open.
USGA organizers posted a photo of Bensel’s scorecard on social media, which showed an ace on the 184-yard fourth hole and an ace on the 203-yard fifth hole at Newport Country Club.
According to the National Hole-in-One Registry, the odds of rolling two aces in the same round are one in 67 million.
And the odds of this happening twice in a row are reportedly one in 156 million.

No video of any of the shots was initially shown, but the USGA released a post showing Bensel, a longtime professional at Century Country Club in Purchase, New York, retrieving a ball from a hole.
The only other instance of a player making consecutive holes-in-one during a tournament is believed to have occurred under even more remarkable circumstances, during the 1971 Martini International at Royal Norwich.
John Hudson followed with a hole-in-one on the 195-yard 11th hole with another ace on the par-four 12th, which measured 314 yards.
Hudson finished joint ninth and earned £160 of the tournament’s total prize money of £7,000.
Bensel, 56, has competed in six PGA Tour events and has never cracked selection.
He finished his second round with eight bogeys and finished nine over par in both.
