Fighters are allowed to wear bandages and tape on their wrists, thumbs, and the middle part of their hands.

However, no mesh or tape should be within one inch of the fingers.

At the start of each round, fighters walk along a line, placing their front foot on one of two lines located three feet apart in the middle of the ring.

The referee will then instruct them to put their knuckles up, which will signal the start of the round.

Only punching with a closed fist is permitted.

Kicks, elbows, knees and grappling are not allowed.

During the clinch, a fighter may punch with the open hand to create space.

If there is a lull in play for three seconds, the referee will break the clinch.

If a player falls down, he has 10 seconds to get back on his feet.

Striking a downed fighter is prohibited and may result in the fighter being disqualified and forfeiting money.

During this time the other fighter aircraft would be instructed to return to the neutral zone.

If a player suffers a cut and his vision is impaired by blood, the referee may call a timeout to give the cutman 30 seconds to repair the cut.

If the bleeding cannot be controlled and affects a player’s vision, the referee will stop the bout and award the win to the other player.

Each round lasts for 2 minutes, and each match consists of 5 rounds.

Boxers must wear groin protection cups, mouthpieces, boxing trunks, and boxing or wrestling shoes.

All players are expected to give their best effort and display total sportsmanship during their matches.
