Who is Ade Oladipo?
Ade Oladipo, 42, was born to Nigerian parents and grew up in Brighton with foster parents, then moved to east London as a youngster.
His career in sport began at an early age, representing Essex in both football and athletics, as well as training at the Tottenham Hotspur Academy.
He won the 2021 Audio Productions Award for Best New Voice, with judges describing him as “an absolute delight to listen to and a shining new light in the field of sports broadcasting”.

How long has Ade Oladipo been a sports broadcaster?
Ade began his career as a sports broadcaster in 2015 as an analyst on Arise News.
Just a year later he moved to ABN Radio and TV, where he hosted the daily Metropolitan Mix show, and then became the main boxing commentator for Kwese Sports.
In 2017, Ade set up his own YouTube channel, Ade Olapido, where he discusses boxing news and has garnered approximately 55,000 subscribers and 15 million views.
What has Ade Oladipo presented in his career?
In addition to being on DAZN since 2022, Ade has hosted a variety of programs – all related to sports.
He joined the Sky Sports News football team in 2019, reporting on all developments during the Premier League and EFL transfer windows.
Ede has started his own daily show called The Social on talkSPORT since 2020, covering Premier League news from the past and present.
In December 2023, he becomes the first black presenter of live Premier League football when he leads Amazon Prime’s coverage of Crystal Palace’s home defeat by Bournemouth.
He has also covered some of the biggest sporting events in the world for Fox Sports and ESPN, including Euro 2020, the World Boxing Championships and the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, as well as UFC and NFL events.
