A week away from 2025 NFL draft, we are getting a clear picture how to play things.
The Miami Quarterback Cam Ward is expected to come out of the board exceptionally number 1 overall pick. he is Out here Bryan Colhan’s naming as the best coach in the league, Calvin Ridley as the best wide receiver and Tony Pollard and Tyje Spears as Best Running Back. This is a person who knows that he will soon be Tenny Titan. After the ward, we have very strong indications that both Travis Hunter of Colorado and Abdul Carter of Pen State will be chosen quite quickly – if not in NOS. 2 and 3 overall.
We know at the point at which situation the draft is strong and on which it is weak, and we know which teams need in the areas of their roster. We really do not know which one would be selecting, because the teams always lie to trading up or down to try to get the player of their choice or to get additional draft capital.
And that’s why today we are here. We took time to identify some teams earlier this week, which could have done business, and today we are going to highlight some teams that can see a step down, whether in the first round or later.
2025 NFL Draft: Teams are most likely to do business in the first round, including veterans, eagles and patriots

To be clear, we are not talking about the number 1 pick about Tennessee Trading. Carow ward is going first. But Titans do not have a third round pick for last year’s L’Jarius Sneed business, so they can easily trade at number 35 to try to take additional day 2 selection.
If both Travis Hunter and Abdul Carter are out of the board, when turning to take Patriots, it may be a place for them to collect additional draft capital to fill many of their requirements. If they do not think that Campbell or Armand Lays-Dunk is the left tackle option, then it can be something we see.
Panthers just need so much on their roster. If they are not in love with wide receiver or defensive end or even cornerback options, they may be a good companion for a team that wants to move beyond saints for one reason or another. (Perhaps for its choice of second quarterbacks from the board.)
Stephen Jones recently said that Cowboy was more likely to trade Downman, so we would include him here. Dallas has a few additional days 3 pics, but thanks to Jonathan Mingo trade in a forward round. If any receiver has not yet come out of the board and the cowboy does not realize who is strongly the top man about whom, they can choose to go down slightly and take their pick up later, while snagting more pics 2 or 3.
Atlanta selects only in this draft. At some point Falcons got to make a business-down option.
General Manager Jason Lich has recently mentioned that BUCS will have the opportunity to transfer the board and take some additional midstraines. If he is already openly presenting about it, we can expand the possibility here.
Vikings also have less pics in this draft (four) compared to Falcons. And we have seen as a general manager during his time that Kwesi Adofo-Meensah is independently more than the board, even if he finished to “lose” the deal on some business price chart.
Ram does not have a second round pick. He did not make a single pick in the first round between 2016 and 2024, so we know that they do not choose a day 1. They can go down some spots and try to get more pics at day 2 and 3 so that they use volume to fill the rest of the roster.
The commanders traded some of their draft pics for dotebo Samuel and Luorty Tunsil, so some of those fingers can make a degree of degrees to start down to resume.
The 2025 NFL draft will take place from 24 April to 26 April in the Lambo Field in Green Bay, Wisconsin. More draft coverage can be found on cbsports.com, including daily mock drafts, consensus probability ranking, The biggest team needs More.
