CELTIC boss Brendan Rodgers faced a different kind of grilling before the match this week.
It happened after a group of kids questioned both him and Hoops captain Callum McGregor ahead of the clash with Dundee United.
Sky Sports sent four young Celtic fans to the Lennoxtown training center to ask their questions to the manager and captain.
As you might expect, the questions were different from what Rodgers and McGregor would be used to in preparation for a big match!
The youngsters asked all sorts of questions towards the Hoops duo – and managed to uncover the manager’s impressive hidden skills!
One of the kids asked Rodgers about any hidden talents he wanted to share, and Rodgers certainly didn’t disappoint!
The Celts boss revealed: “When I was younger, I used to play the accordion, believe it or not!
“But I haven’t played the accordion for years.
“Besides, I don’t have much talent, let alone hidden talents!”
Asked what superpower he would like to have, Rodgers said: “I would love to speak every language in the world.”
The children were also curious to know who the most famous contacts in both Rodgers and McGregor’s phones were.
McGregor joked that his manager Rodgers was the most famous name on his contact list.
Meanwhile, Rodgers replied: “I was very lucky to be in contact with Elton John when I was a younger manager.”
The children asked: “Can you play them?”
Finding the perfect excuse for not dialing up the cool music, Rodgers responded: “I can’t find my phone!”
Rodgers was Watford manager between 2008 and 2009.
Music legend Sir Elton has been president of Watford twice and remains honorary president of the club.
