Anthony Joshua has revealed he is getting closer to his next fight as he prepares for a return to Wembley.
After three fights in Saudi Arabia, AJ is scheduled to return to the 90,000-capacity stadium in September.
Instead, Saudi Arabian boxing chief Turki Alalshikh is making his first splash in the British market by promoting Joshua’s domestic bout.
Joshua posted that an announcement would be coming soon: “I’ve almost finished negotiating for my next fight! I’m feeling motivated.”
Joshua has twice sold out Wembley to win world titles over Wladimir Klitschko and Alexander Povetkin.
He also defeated Carlos Takam and Joseph Parker at the 75,000-strong Principality Stadium in Cardiff.
His most recent fights in the UK were at the O2, where he picked up wins over Jermaine Franklin and Robert Helenius.
He suffered a double defeat to 37-year-old Oleksandr Usyk, who defeated 35-year-old Tyson Fury to become the undisputed champion.
And since the two were scheduled to have a rematch on December 21 in Riyadh, AJ had to look for an opponent elsewhere.
Deontay Wilder was also in the running but got his line wrong twice, losing to 32-year-old Parker and 41-year-old Zhilei Zhang.

How AJ made his way to the top
Anthony Joshua made several attempts to reach the top of the world, only to be knocked down.
The 38-year-old American former WBC champion now faces retirement.
Instead, 26-year-old Daniel Dubois has the opportunity to face 34-year-old Joshua in an all-British blockbuster match at Wembley.
Dubois earned the biggest win of his career against 32-year-old Filip Hrgovic in Saudi Arabia.
This earned him the title of IBF interim champion and made him next in line for the belt that Usyk held.
The Ukrainian was in danger of having his title stripped because he couldn’t fight his No. 1 ranked IBF challenger due to a rematch with Fury.
But so far, Usyk has retained his title despite Joshua’s threat and Dubois will fight for the vacant spot in London.
A press conference is planned for June 26 in the capital, where AJ’s next fight and title hopes will be confirmed.
He knocked out former UFC star Francis Ngannou, 37, in the second round in March.
