Eddie Hearn has confirmed a major change to his Matchroom boxing show which has been praised by fans.
The 45-year-old promoter regularly organizes fight events across the UK as well as internationally in the US and other territories.
And now he has revealed he is ready to address a major frustration many boxing viewers have had for years.
The main events of British boxing shows often start very late – the first bell sometimes rings after 11 pm.
However, Hearn has confirmed that stomping ground They intend to move the main event ring walk time to 9pm on all UK shows.
He also wants the shows to be completed by 10 pm.
This will be music to the ears of fight fans who either have to get home incredibly late from the venue or stay up watching the event on TV until the morning.
Responding to Hearn’s comments, one fan said: “I’m not a huge fan of promoters, but I have to hand it to Eddie… great move for the fans and the sport of boxing!!”
