BOXING fans have recognised Daniel Dubois’ hilarious mistake on social media – which has been compared to the former Premier League star’s iconic tweet.
Dubois verbally sparred with Anthony Joshua at a press conference just days before their world title fight.
And he wasted no time in letting fans know that all conversation was over – although the message may not have actually come from him.
Dubois posted a photo of himself, writing: “What a powerful and compelling caption for a final press conference post:
“The final press conference is over – the talk ends here. Now it’s time to talk with fists. I’m ready for this fight. Let’s get started.”
It appears Dubois accidentally forgot to remove the suggestion, leading fans to praise him.
One said: “I think Daniel is secretly a stand-up comedian and he’s made us all laugh!”
Another said: “This could have been an accident or done on purpose: either way it’s pretty funny.”
One said: “I like him more now.”
Another referenced Victor Anichebe’s infamous 2016 tweet.

The former Sunderland striker posted online: Can you tweet something like: “Incredible support yesterday and great effort by the boys! The result was tough to take! But we’ll be back!”
Dubois also left press conference attendees laughing after a bizarre exchange with Joshua.
The two were investigated for a heated exchange two months ago, when AJ threatened to shove a chair into Dubois’ face.
“He said, ‘Let’s go now,'” Joshua, 34, said. “I was thinking for a minute, and I asked, ‘What does he mean?’
“And then he repeated it again. And I feel like anybody here…”
Dubois, 27, interjected: “This is boxing. This is what happens, this is boxing. These things happen, that’s why we’re competing on Saturday. Let’s go.”
“As I was saying,” Joshua said, drawing laughter from the crowd.
Joshua vs Dubois fight predictions
This weekend will see one of the greatest British battles ever staged at Wembley.
But who will emerge victorious under the leadership of this famous boxer? Some of boxing’s biggest names have had their say…
Oleksandr Usyk“My favourite is Anthony Joshua, but I’m really bad at making predictions. But I would predict Anthony Joshua.”
Dillion Whyte“I think it’s one of those fights where it’s really a 50/50 fight in my opinion.”
Joe Joyce: “I was initially going with Joshua but I don’t know, Dubois is coming forward.”
Frazer Clarke“As powerful as Dubois is and as good a fighter as he’s becoming, I’d still have to go for Joshua.”
Francis Ngannou: “Even though Joshua lost twice against Usyk and Dubois fought Usyk and almost knocked him out and almost won, I would still give this award to Joshua.”

“You should never let anybody back down an inch in a press conference, because they’ll eventually back down a mile. See what I mean, Dan?”
A confused DuBois replied: “Excuse me?”
Tensions escalated further when the issue of the infamous fight between the two was raised.
AJ had to deny that Dubois had knocked him down several years ago, but he did admit that he was shaken up by a left hook.
“He shattered me with a great shot and on Saturday I have a chance to take revenge on him,” Joshua said.
“I’m looking forward to it. We’ve competed for hundreds of rounds, right?”
Dubois said: “This is combat. Now we’re fighting, it’s different. Now move on. Now we can move on. Move on.”
The defending champion goes into the fight without head trainer Don Charles, sparking rumours they have sensationally split just days before the bout.

But Dubois and his camp say Charles is actually sick with the flu and is expected to be in the corner on fight night.
Dubois said: “Everything is fine. As long as he’s with me on fight night. Everything went well, training camp was great. Let’s go.”
