Conor McGregor has issued a stern warning to Logan Paul amid talks over a surprise exhibition fight.
The former two-weight UFC champion revealed late last year that he had accepted a boxing match against the WWE superstar.
SunSport understands that talks over the bout are at an exploratory stage and neither the UFC nor WWE are at the negotiating table.
McGregor, 36, has suggested a mega-deal worth £400 million ($500m) – the brainchild of Indian billionaire Anant Ambani – has been finalised.
And he has done so once again by giving a stern warning to social media superstar Paul.
With a photo of Paul in a WWE ring and a India Flag emoji, McGregor wrote on the
McGregor’s millions of followers commented, with one saying: “Easy job.”
Another said: “I hope it’s true. I’m not crazy.”
One commented: “A quarter of a billion dollars to fight Logan Paul. Surely not?
“(The) world has absolutely come to an end crazy If this turns out to be true.
“Surely this fight wouldn’t be enough to pay both fighters such a stupid amount of money.
Another chimed in: “It doesn’t matter what the fighter is, if they are offered $250 million they will fight.
“Can’t blame them either.”
A shocking report last December claimed that both McGregor and Paul would receive a whopping £200m for the proposed Mumbai melee.
Both men added fuel to the fire over their proposed crossover bout, with McGregor re-sharing the report and Paul liking one Instagram Post citing this.
Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium is being prepared to host the crossover clash, which will reportedly take place in conjunction with the ‘Visit India’ tourism campaign.

Meanwhile, MMA mogul McGregor has been on the sidelines since breaking his left leg in his trilogy fight with Dustin Poirier in July 2021.
He was scheduled to return to the UFC last June against Michael Chandler, but was forced to pull out of the Sin City bout with a toe injury.
