Conor McGregor is back training for a UFC return – but fans fear it will never come.
The Irishman was set to fight against Michael Chandler for the first time since 2021 on June 29.
But McGregor suffered a toe injury that forced him out of the fight for the first time in his UFC career.
The former two-weight champion has expressed his disappointment at not having yet received a rescheduled fight date.
However he continues to train and has uploaded a series of clips hitting the pads – but fans are less convinced.
One said: “Conor will never fight in the UFC again. YouTuber boxes the best.”
Another said: “Slow and sloppy.”
One commented: “Just say it man, you’ll never fight again.”
But another argued: “Looks good.”
Chandler, 38, has now signed to rematch Charles Oliveira, 34, on November 16 in New York.

This puts McGregor’s next fight in doubt but he has turned his attention to welterweight champion Belal Muhammad, 36.
He said on the DuelBits livestream: “He’s sad. I want to fight him.
“Okay, Chandler’s matchup is done, let’s put the Belal-McGregor UFC welterweight world title on the line.
“I’ve had a lot of knockouts at 170 pounds, I’m a powerhouse at 170 pounds. I take losses at welterweight, check the stats.
I’ve done them with 100 percent accuracy, this guy doesn’t even have a knockdown in UFC history.
“Honestly, it’s not even a knockdown, it’s embarrassing. I was turning that guy in slow motion.
“They are all useless in this matter. You’re not interested, come to me, but for a lease? Yes, next, yes please. Stop it Dana and the boys.”
