AARON CHALMERS is returning to the ring – and this time the action will be more violent than ever.

The reality TV star left the Geordie Shore house in 2017 to become a professional MMA fighter – where he amassed a 5-2 record.

Chalmers then focused on boxing and fought five bouts in a mix of professional bouts and crossover-style exhibition bouts, including a bout with the legendary Floyd Mayweather.

But a lack of offers and personal life stresses led the 37-year-old to retire.

That was until the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship – which is co-owned by UFC legends Conor McGregor and David Feldman – came knocking.

“I had given up and then BKFC contacted me, and I knew it had to be something big to get us back,” Chalmers told SunSport.

“I spoke to David on the phone a couple of times, and I thought, ‘Ah, this is definitely the right fit for me.’

“Obviously, he’s got a contract for a lot of fights and yeah, I think he’s got some big plans for us. So I’m excited.

“This is another one. I’ve done MMA, I’ve done boxing, I’ve now done bare-knuckle boxing.

“So I’ve marked most of the top fighting games that I possibly could.”

Chalmers put off a £12,000 nose operation to continue his fighting career.

Jake Paul is so confident his November 15 fight with Mike Tyson will happen, that he refuses to name a backup opponent

But after taking a step back from TV work, he doesn’t have to worry as much about protecting his money-making streams.

He said: “Is it more brutal than getting elbowed in the face in MMA?

“Is it more brutal than getting kicked in the face or kneed in MMA? I don’t know.

“I mean, there’s only one way to find out. It really is pure violence, isn’t it?”

“I need to learn how to hit and how not to hit. So I have to do a lot more movement than just standing and trying to grapple in boxing.

“My coach says, ‘I want you to be in and out.’ So it’s fine to do that in training for eight weeks, but once you get out there it’s a completely different story.

“Like I said, listen, I’m grown up now and they’ve brought me a great offer which I can’t refuse. So I’m not really too worried about the face.

“I’m moving on now. It’s not like I’m on TV in front of all these people, so yeah, I’m just excited.”

American TikToker Bryce Hall, 25, won his BKFC debut last year, while YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul, 27, is also in Chalmers’ crosshairs.

He said: “Bryce Hall, that would be a great fight for me. Obviously, I want to get my feet in it, I want to get my toes wet in it, see what it’s like.

“Maybe there’ll be one or two, and then we can start looking at people like that.”

“I mean, I still think if I have big success in BKFC, a fight with Jake Paul could happen.

“We need to make a big bang. Basically, we need to go back to the Bellator days, the BAMMA days, where I used to knock people out cold.

“That’s what we’re interested in. So that’s what we’re going back to.”
