Jake Paul has taken a dig at Mike Tyson for demanding the rules be changed ahead of their controversial fight.
YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul will face heavyweight boxing icon Tyson on November 15 in a widely criticized clash over the 30-year age difference.
With a record at stake the fight is set to be professionally sanctioned – but with modified rules.
Paul claimed that Tyson requested shorter two-minute rounds – as opposed to the usual three – while also having to wear larger 14oz gloves.
he told daily Mail: “That’s interesting, I’m just basing it on facts.
“He says, ‘Look at your shape, look at your shape’. I say, ‘Okay, but you look at this.’
“It might be to his benefit. I think it also makes sense that he’s doing it. I’m fighting on all his rules and what he wanted.
“He wanted it to be a professional fight. He wanted eight, two-minute rounds. So I’m giving him everything he wants.
“I’m going to be on his playground, and I’m going to kick his ass. I mean, it’s just being cautious and knowing what to do in that situation.”
Tyson, 58, was forced to withdraw from the initial July 20 date after developing a stomach ulcer.

He has since been deemed medically fit to continue training and is required to undergo additional brain and heart testing before his fight.
27-year-old Paul has recorded ten wins and only one loss in the boxing ring, in 2023 he lost a split decision to 25-year-old Tommy Fury.
Tyson, meanwhile, returns for his first professional fight since 2005 despite facing Roy Jones Jr. in an exhibition bout in 2020.
His return also marks Netflix’s first foray into live boxing while the Dallas Cowboys’ 80,000-seat stadium plays host.
Paul was forced to defend the fight and said: “Mike does what Mike wants to do, and that’s what you know he wanted to make it a professional fight.
“He still wants to do it, and he believes he can really kick my ass behind the scenes.
‘For him, age is just a number, and he looks athletic, he looks strong, and he looks good in the mitts, so we’ll see how that plays out in the ring.’
