Jake Paul is making a career change after his boxing fight with Mike Tyson, which is “not an easy thing to do.”

The 27-year-old YouTuber-turned-boxer will face 58-year-old heavyweight great Tyson on November 15, in a bout that has sparked controversy over the age difference.

But Paul is also set to make his MMA debut next year after signing a deal with the Professional Fighters League.

PFL CEO Peter Murray has revealed that the American could move from the ring to the cage immediately after facing Tyson.

he told Sportskeeda: “Yes, we are preparing for it.

“Obviously, Jake is wrapping up boxing this year with this big fight against Mike Tyson.

“There’s a lot of planning going on after that for Jake Paul’s debut in 2025 and we’ll share those details when Jake steps into the ring with Mike Tyson and we prepare our schedule for super fights next year.”

Paul is 10-1 as a boxer and his only loss came against Tommy Fury in February 2023 – a month before signing with the PFL.

And the PFL publicly offered Fury £15million to rematch Paul in the ring ahead of a three-fight clash in the cage.

The 2019 Love Island star – who recently split from Molly-Mae Hague – has since called out Paul for an MMA bout.

Meanwhile Murray promises Paul’s first MMA opponent will be a noteworthy one.

He added: “There are a lot of options and Jake is committed to fighting a very credible, well-rounded MMA fighter, and that’s not easy to do.”

“It’s not easy to come from boxing to MMA. You know, it’s much easier to come from MMA or other disciplines to boxing.”
