Who is Kelly Cahill?
Born in February 1994, Kelly Cahill was raised by her mother Nancy and father Rob.
She grew up in Lake Oswego, Oregon, with her brother Marty.
Kelly graduated from Arizona State University (ASU), where she represented the state in javelin throw competitions.
She was also on the track and field team where she competed in the javelin throw.
How did Kelly Cahill meet Jon Rahm?
John began dating Kelly in 2016 while they were both students at Arizona State University.
In June 2018, John got down on one knee before competing in the US Open.
He later revealed that he had designed Kelly’s ring himself.
“I designed the ring. She got to choose the diamond, but I knew what I wanted,” he said.
He added, “It should look like a crown and have engravings inside.
“I had a big role in that.
“It wasn’t exactly what she wanted, but she likes it.
“It’s a little bit more of a personal matter.”
The world-renowned golfer married Kelly in the Spanish city of Bilbao in late 2019.
Since marriage, John has become the second highest-paid athlete in the world.
