Arne Slot is officially the new head coach of Liverpool and he has finally been given the chance to speak directly to supporters as the top coach.
Speaking for the first time with the club, the Dutchman was invited to deliver a message to the supporters and he said: “You surprised me a bit with this one!
“There has been a change, but hopefully it won’t be too big a change because we still have the same players, we still have the same fans – and if they both do the same thing, it will make my life a lot easier!

“I hope they play again this upcoming season, and I hope the same for the players. I will do everything in my interest and power to lead the team in the best possible way.”
This was a platform for the 45-year-old to speak to us directly and all he told us to do was do what we had been doing before, which was as simple as that.
This could be the first day of a beautiful relationship and let’s hope that is the case, we won’t find it hard to win but the main conversation will happen on the field.
