Deontay Wilder has been challenged to a bridgerweight bout with a British world champion.
Bronze Bomber Future The heavyweight is uncertain after losing four of her last five fights, the most recent of which was a brutal sixth-round knockout at the hands of Zeili Zhang.
Despite his brutal and lengthy reign as WBC king, fight fans have long thought the taller and leaner Wilder would be better suited to fighting at lightweight.
If the American is looking to breathe new life into his career, the recently formed bridgerweight division would be his ideal new home.
And WBC titleholder Lawrence Okolie happily welcomed him back into the weight class, telling Betway“I think it will be a great fight
And he will always have that one thing that leaves people late and that is his punching Power And the name — Deontay Wilder.”
Unlike most of Wilder’s opponents, Okolie wants to feel the full power of Wilder’s cannonball right hand.
He added: “If I’m fighting Wilder, no matter what I say, I’ll be a bit apprehensive and think, ‘OK let’s see what happens to him. Power Is like’.
“I think it’s a great fight.”

“You can come back if you want, but he has his family and he has his life outside of boxing,” the former two-time unified heavyweight champion said.
“I enjoy fighting in London, I enjoy fighting here (Saudi Arabia), I enjoy fighting in America.
