Fans were stunned to see the first shirt-off celebration in women’s golf.
On the second day of the Solheim Cup, Team USA maintained its four-point lead over Team Europe ahead of today’s decisive singles match.
Alison Lee’s incredible eagle on the second hole helped the Americans secure a crucial point, and the shot was followed by an unusual celebration.
As soon as the ball fell into the hole, she happily hugged her teammate Megan Khang – but both their joys were short-lived.
Khang’s caddie Jack Fulghum and Lee’s bag-carrier Taylor Takada awkwardly took off their shirts to celebrate.
They shouted “Let’s go” and embraced each other, leaving Lee, Team Europe and the supporters astonished.
Fans couldn’t believe it, with one saying: “I never thought women’s golf would ever have a ‘shirt off’ celebration.”
Others criticised his behaviour, saying: “Have some decency.”
Morey commented: “Pretty embarrassing.”
After the win, Lee revealed the caddies’ madness and said it was part of a bet.

He said: “Right after the first hole, he (Fulgham) looked at us and said: ‘Come on guys, I want to see one of you putt a hole in. I want to see a really good shot.’
“They said if one of us got out we’d get $500.
“I said: ‘I don’t want your money, I don’t need $500. How about you take your shirt off?’
“And he said: ‘Yes, I’ll do it’.
“They both agreed, and it was a very funny thing that happened. Five minutes later, Jack was the first one to take his shirt off – he was very quick to do it.
“I saw it out of the corner of my eye, so I looked at my caddie and said: ‘Why aren’t you taking your shirt off? Take it off’. Then he eventually took it off.”
On the final day, the US leads 10-6.
