Jake Paul had to refuse a horrific promise from Mike Perry ahead of their boxing match.

He recalled a controversial sparring session from 2021 when Perry said: “Your little green punches can’t even reach my brain stem, bro.
“I’m going to dig out your eyes and find your memories.”

The YouTuber-turned-boxer was scheduled to face Mike Tyson in Texas but the 58-year-old pulled out of the bout citing health precautions.
Instead, the controversial bout has been postponed until November 15 and 32-year-old Perry has been named in his place.
Paul, 27, is risking a huge amount of money by taking on the former UFC star but insists he will put on a great performance on the night.
He said, “He can’t do anything, and I respect that. He’s very violent.”
“It doesn’t diminish the importance of Mike Perry. He can beat a lot of people, but he can’t beat me.”

Perry became the face of the bare-knuckle boxing scene after leaving the UFC in 2021.
And he told Paul: “I’m excited for the fight. I like getting punched and I like getting punched, so we’ll see.
“Ten-ounce gloves, no headgear—I’m going to hurt you, Jake. And I’ll laugh in your face when you try to hurt me.”
