The blockbuster feud between KSI and Jake Paul has taken a new turn after promoter Cale Sauerland was brought in to revive the conversation.
The YouTuber-turned-boxer pair have been feuding for over half a decade, fuelling demand for a money-making bout.
But the relationship between Paul’s business partner Nakisa Bidarian and KSI’s manager has reached an all-time low.
As a result, Taylor’s Misfits boxing partner Sauerland has been given the responsibility of handling negotiations.
Last year he helped revive a deal for KSI to face Tommy Fury despite having nearly three decades of experience competing at the top level.
Sauerland told SunSport: “I’ve boxed for 24 years and have competed in unified fights, heavyweight world championships with multiple belts.
“I have noticed that the situation is no different on the traditional side.
“You have to manage a lot of things, whether it’s weight, purses, egos, you name it; locker room choices, choice of who to declare first.
“All of these things are part of putting together a great fight. So they don’t throw me under the bus. I’m always ready to go.”
“In certain fights, I get called upon to bring it together, Tommy Fury was one last year, which was obviously no small task.

“Sometimes it’s the old feeling, it’s been three decades of promoting boxing. That might help.”
KSI’s team claims fight with Paul has money-making potential £100 million,
Sauerland added: “And the rest! It’s a huge battle.”
“We all know that in terms of the numbers, you have to understand this area and understand the Mayweather-Pacquiao equivalent in it.
“It’s a traditional part of the game. So I think it will be about the same number.”
Sauerland acknowledged that talks with his rival Bidarian have not yet begun.
But his brother Nisse has worked with Paul’s adviser in the past – raising fresh hopes of a deal being struck.
KSI, 31, has not returned since losing the first time out to Fury, 25, last October.
