A boxer and his brother were “arrested” after fighting in the ring.
Jack Abel competing in a bout against Mikey Bates Rough N Rowdy Promotion organized by American blog website Barstool Sports.
Abell felt his below-par performance loss was controversial and led to a brawl in the ring.
Soon, he and his brother Spencer started fighting with their opponents and there was chaos in the ring.
Officers wearing police uniforms immediately threw the Abdul brothers to the ground and handcuffed them.
Although it is still not clear whether the arrests were genuine or not.
Still, fans were left stunned by the hectic scene, as one said: “What is this? I’ve never seen this much chaos before.”
Another said: “Hahaha. Why are the police acting like they killed someone?”
But one angrily said: “Fake, no one is buying these things so why are you trying to create any kind of drama.”
Another fumed: “I can’t believe I fell for this nonsense.”
Barstool Sports is owned by social media personality David Portnoy, who has an estimated net worth of £80million.
And he started his own boxing promotion to compete in crossover and celebrity style boxing contests.
But amid declining pay-per-view sales, Portnoy admitted his future in the boxing business could soon be in jeopardy.
He said: “If I don’t like the numbers here I might end Rough N Rowdy. It’s a lot of work.”
“It’s very expensive to put it together. I want at least 20,000 pay-per-view buys.”
